Project Goals:

To create a highly accurate digital copy of the Kamianets-Podilskyi Fortress for its preservation, promotion, and use in educational purposes, as well as for possible restoration in case of damage.
Key Project Stages:

Perform laser scanning and photogrammetry of the fortress from the ground and a drone.

Conduct approximately 1,000 scanning stations using RIEGL VZ-400i.

Take 3,000 photographs to create textures.

Conduct a four-month data processing in the office.

Create a high-precision 3D model with an error of up to 2-3 cm.
-
Provide the digital model for use by the Kamianets-Podilskyi State Historical Museum-Reserve.
