Project Goal:
The goal of the project is to preserve and promote Ukrainian cultural heritage. Through 3D scanning, the project records the current state of monuments and develops souvenir products using augmented reality (AR) technologies. This helps draw attention to the problem of heritage destruction while also contributing to the development of tourism.
Key Project Stages:

3D Digitization. The Skeiron team carried out the largest expedition of its kind, covering all regions of Ukraine. As a result, 40 architectural monuments were digitally preserved.

Creation of AR Postcards. Based on the 3D models, a series of AR postcards was developed. When scanned with the app, each postcard reveals a 3D model of the monument in augmented reality.

Mobile Application Development. The “Pocket City AR” app (iOS and Android) was created as a digital library of postcards featuring monuments from different cities (Kyiv, Odesa, Kharkiv, Lviv, Chortkiv).

Audio Guides. Audio guides were recorded in both Ukrainian and English.
