Project Goal
The goal of the project is to draw attention to the problem of architectural heritage destruction and to promote heritage sites as a driver for local tourism development. With the help of AR technologies and audio guides, Ukrainians and foreigners can learn more about the architecture of Ivano-Frankivsk.
Key Project Stages
-
Digitization of architectural monuments: The team carried out 3D scanning of eight key architectural landmarks of Ivano-Frankivsk.
-
Creation of AR postcards: A set of eight postcards was developed, featuring architectural monuments. When scanned with a mobile phone, the image “comes to life” in 3D.
-
Creation of informational support: For each object, an audio guide was created to provide additional information about the monument.
