Scanning with the support of POLONIKA

POLONIKA is a cultural institution established in 2017 by the Minister of Culture and National Heritage of the Republic of Poland. Its mission is to safeguard the heritage of the former Polish–Lithuanian Commonwealth that today lies beyond the borders of modern Poland. The Institute carries out conservation, research, inventory, and promotional projects in dozens of countries around the world.

Most of POLONIKA’s initiatives are implemented in Ukraine, where hundreds of sites have survived at the crossroads of cultures, serving as evidence of our shared history. At a time when war threatens cultural monuments, the Institute’s support is especially valuable. Cooperation with POLONIKA enables us not only to record the current state of unique architectural landmarks but also to make them accessible for study and preservation in digital form.
