Preservation of Ukrainian Heritage in Dnipropetrovsk Oblast

Project Goals:

 

  • To preserve key cultural heritage sites in the Dnipropetrovsk region that are at risk of destruction from missile attacks.

 

Tasks Completed by the Team:

 

  • Conducted the digitization of historical buildings in the Dnipropetrovsk region located less than 100 km from the front lines.

  • Digitized objects from different historical periods and with different functions.

  • Created digital copies of the Dnipro Philharmonic, the St. Nicholas Catholic Church in Kamianske, the Petrykivka Museum of Ethnography, Life and Folk Applied Arts, the Dmytro Yavornytsky Museum, the modernist Lazara Hloba Summer Theater, and other sites.

  • Presented the results at an exhibition at the Technical University of Dortmund.
