This foundation came to Ukraine in 2022 with substantial support. Thanks to their efforts, museums were evacuated, and dozens of projects aimed at preserving heritage were implemented. Together, we have digitized over 50 heritage sites across Ukraine, including UNESCO World Heritage sites and objects of national significance. These include the caves of Kyiv-Pechersk Lavra, the Assumption Church, the palace in Kachanivka, the reserve in Baturyn, the Kamianets-Podilskyi Fortress, numerous landmarks in the center of Lviv, which is part of the UNESCO zone, and many others.

ALIPH Foundation

Together with the Institute for German Culture and History in Southeastern Europe (IKGS), we carried out our largest project — the digitization of the Residence of the Metropolitans of Dalmatia and Bukovina in Chernivtsi, which is now the National University of Chernivtsi. This was our biggest challenge, and we are proud of this collaboration.

We are pleased to collaborate with the Howard G. Buffett Foundation to document russia's crimes in Ukraine. Together, we have digitized evidence of crimes in the areas around Izium. We are grateful to Mr. Howard Buffett and his team for their efforts in Ukraine.

Institute POLONIKA is a Polish state institution dedicated to preserving, protecting, and promoting Polish cultural heritage abroad. In Ukraine, POLONIKA plays a vital role in the restoration and preservation of historical monuments. Following russia's invasion in 2022, they were among the first to provide support for the digital preservation of cultural objects. Thanks to their initiative, UNESCO-listed wooden churches and many central buildings in Lviv have been scanned in Ukraine. We have signed a memorandum of cooperation with POLONIKA in the field of heritage preservation in Ukraine and greatly appreciate their commitment to this cause.

The Ukrainian Cultural Foundation has funded numerous projects that our team has implemented or contributed to, focusing on the digitization and promotion of our cultural heritage. This organization is a breath of fresh air for all cultural professionals in Ukraine. We look forward to many more collaborative projects in the future.

Ukrainian Cultural Foundation

In collaboration with Google Arts & Culture, we have made over 40 objects accessible through Google search and created an online collection for viewing cultural heritage sites. Since the beginning of 2022, Google Arts & Culture has been actively supporting museums and cultural institutions in Ukraine, helping to preserve and promote the country's cultural heritage. They provide digital tools and platforms that allow museums to continue their work even under challenging circumstances and assist in preserving and digitizing collections, making them accessible to the world.

Google Arts & Culture

Ukraine Art Aid Center is an initiative that, since 2022, has helped over a hundred museums with evacuating exhibits, preserving collections, and much more. Thanks to this center, we received storage space for hundreds of terabytes of data on our cultural heritage sites and equipment for scanning.

We work closely with the Ministry, which facilitates the organization of digitization projects. Our collaboration is formalized in a memorandum of understanding. All digitization data of cultural heritage sites belong to the Ukrainian people, and we are committed to integrating our data into the Ministry's database to ensure broad access and preservation.

Artec3D provided Ukraine with the Artec Leo scanner, which enabled our team to digitize over 300 exhibits from Ukrainian museums. Additionally, numerous sculptures were scanned and subsequently restored thanks to this technology.

Nira is a service for online viewing of 3D models in high detail. Thanks to them, the whole world can see our heritage sites in the finest details. They are indispensable in our work, with dozens of  our objects already uploaded to this service. Nira allows users to explore objects, perform simple measurements, and much more.

Leica Geosystems is a key player in the field of geodesy worldwide. They provide us with software solutions for processing laser scanning data, and their scanners have been helping our team preserve cultural heritage sites for many years.

Capturing Reality — the developers of the leading photogrammetry software, Reality Capture. Their product has been incredibly helpful to us, and we regularly use this software for our projects. We have conducted numerous training sessions on it. Now, you can access this software for free and join us in digitizing cultural heritage sites together.

OpenScanTools is a software for working with point clouds that allows for quick and easy generation of orthogonal images, making it indispensable for architects and restorers. Thanks to this software, you can see many beautiful images on our social media pages.

OpenScanTools

Riegl is a leading manufacturer of high-precision laser scanners. They provided us with their Riegl VZ400i device for scanning in Ukraine, which enabled us to digitize Saint Sophia Cathedral, a UNESCO World Heritage site, as well as dozens of other sites. Together with Riegl, we continue to work on preserving Ukraine's cultural heritage through modern technology.

We have uploaded hundreds of scanned objects on Sketchfab, ranging from large monuments to museum exhibits. Sketchfab has supported our activities for many years by providing space for hosting our data. In Ukraine, dozens of online museums have already been organized on this platform, and this number continues to grow.
