Our ambassadors are remarkable individuals who have supported Skeiron's work for years and actively fight for the preservation, digitization, promotion, and restoration of cultural heritage. They share our values and ideals, dedicating their efforts to achieving new heights in our mission.

Ambassadors

Mariia Kravchenko is a cultural manager and a lecturer at the Department of Cultural Studies at the Ukrainian Catholic University.

Through the ReHerit project, she introduced us to the cultural sphere of Lviv and Ukraine on a broader scale. Mariia played a key role in helping our organization establish connections with the local cultural community. In collaboration, we had the pleasure of working on the ReHerit project and later implementing Chortkiv Pocket City AR, which became the first Pocket City AR project to secure external funding rather than relying solely on Skeiron's investments.

Mariia Kravchenko

It was he who proposed the name for our organization. Yurii Stoiko was inspired by Greek mythology, where Skeiron is the god of the northwestern wind.

In 2016-2017, Yurii led Skeiron as its director, guiding the organization through its early and challenging years. His tireless work and dedication laid a solid foundation for the further development of our activities.

Today, he serves in the Armed Forces of Ukraine, defending our country and all of us from russian aggression. We are deeply grateful to him for his contribution to the creation of Skeiron and for his courage in the fight for Ukraine's freedom.

Sandra Strumskas

<p>At the beginning of 2022, RIEGL and Nikolaus Studnicka provided Ukraine with a laser scanner for the emergency digitization of Saint Sophia Cathedral in Kyiv. Today, this scanner remains in Ukraine and is used annually to digitally document over 30 cultural heritage sites. The contribution of RIEGL and the personal efforts of Nikolaus Studnicka in preserving Ukrainian heritage cannot be overstated.</p>

Stepan Stoiko

Since 2016, the person who played a fundamental role in the establishment of Skeiron has consistently guided us and made adjustments to our work. Skeiron could always rely on their advice on any matter. In 2022, at the beginning of russia's full-scale invasion, they helped organize emergency digitization efforts in Ukraine.

Vasyl Petryk

<p>Dr Maja Kominko is the Director of Projects at the Heritage Management Organization in Athens, leading the organization&rsquo;s projects in Ukraine, Iraq, Yemen and Pakistan. She holds a Doctorate in Archaeology from the University of Oxford and has extensive academic experience at universities in the UK and the USA, as well as a strong publication record. Before taking up her current position, she was the Director of Endangered Culture Programmes at Arcadia Fund in London, and the Scientific Director of ALIPH Foundation in Geneva, where she focused on the protection and rehabilitation of heritage in conflict and post-conflict areas.</p>
